ok...people get popped daily on the metro for wearing the regular white headphones...they are $400...this pendant is decadent... but, i wish i had thought of casting these sterling silver ipod headphones: totally me!

happy birthday!

today is the mister's birthday: he is sooo old! i got him a lot of cool stuff to help take the edge off: dewalt cordless saw, bykali belt buckle via etsy , m"n"m treasures belt buckle also through etsy, waterproof binoculars for when he's fishing. i also made him a few things: a t-shirt with the silhouette of his boat; another one of a gorgeous chesapeake bay deadrise boat; amethyst and sterling silver cuff links and studs; and buttons! i fabricated these buttons out of an old hammered flask found at a flea market some months ago...took three hours, but i finally sew'd them on his favorite jacket so he can wear it today: shiny!

just sold and shipped this woven sterling chain with a hematite toggle from my herban elements etsy shop.

maltese cross

jesse commissioned me to make a cross for her boyfriend's 30th birthday: this is what i came up! it is kiln-fire enameled on both sides: the red & blue maltese cross side is bezel set in oxidized sterling silver and the other side is a cutout revealing a traditional cross in blue behind an acid etched frame. i used the inside of an envelope for the etched pattern. it turned out great.
