jesse commissioned me to make a cross for her boyfriend's 30th birthday: this is what i came up! it is kiln-fire enameled on both sides: the red & blue maltese cross side is bezel set in oxidized sterling silver and the other side is a cutout revealing a traditional cross in blue behind an acid etched frame. i used the inside of an envelope for the etched pattern. it turned out great.Friday, June 19, 2009
