i have really put off producing art work for the virginia house: it's sooo white...and clean...no chatkes=no dusting. but, after doing a photo session to submit to the apartment therapy "small..cool" competition earlier this year, i realized this place looked boring, visually boring. so, i am fast-forwarding project artwork: i have taken over 1,000 photos and collected lots of found stuff since i discovered the northern neck, yet nothing has appeared on any of my walls. time to get busy. i finally mounted and hung a naturally shed baby-deer horn i found in a field while walking the dog next to a box turtle's shell: not sure what happened here or who ate it...the turtle and i had met before, and then one day, the shell showed up alone...in plain view...bone white...dead, yet fantastic...so, we start with the art:(
