i like being thrifty!

this week's vintage shopping yielded a few treasures: i love the coordinating green vases: one is stamped 'haeger'...

another globe for my vast collection...

a tin lunch box shaped like an old time-y television showing 'i dream of jeanie'...
an alessi toothpick holder for 3 bucks...
spent $30 on everything.

this weekend's haul

did a little thrifting this weekend at the huge barn: the mister was no where around! i found two compotes, an urn and a mccoy planter, all  for $22: sweet! these will look great in the summer version of kensington!

i'm thrifty!

Photobucket
i went to the thrift store to see what i could see...i actually did have a purpose: i wanted some small and tiny cast iron pans for making individual servings of whatever. i only found two of them, but -check it out- i found lots of everything else! the vintage book section was amazing, and their was lots of jewelry i didnt have time to look through...i will be returning soon without the mister!
