i missed last night's episode of the simpson's because i was at a tiki bar enjoying myself with friends...but i caught the opening on youtube this morning...and it was great! banksy has sort of gone mainstream.

although officially classified as vandalism, graffiti is the cutting edge of art today despite the fact its been around for four decades or more. i love it and look for it and respect the talents of taggers. one of my favorite street artists, banksy, has sold pieces for high $ over the last few years and therefore, with money comes legitimacy, right?
