saturdays seem as frantic as any other day of the week around here: busy people in traffic jams running to and fro...i try to stay out of it! i will go on a hike with oto and the mister, then head downtown...i'm thinking of going to the renwick gallery: an oasis of calm in a sea of stress. despite this museum being across the street from the white house, it is never crowded or loud, and there are two exhibitions on display now that sound so interesting! the revolution in wood has 66 carved and turned pieces from important artists, and the art of gaman shows work created by inhabitants of the japanese-american internment camps from 1942-1946...both exhibits end the 30th.
