cracking the code

my head is spinning and my eyes are blurry after four days of html5 code webinars. there are so many brackets, commas, weird words and did i mention the brackets? although i am at the beginning, it seems really non-intuitive and confusing...i am sure i will get it at some point! i figure i spend so much time on the computer, i should learn how it actually works, and maybe do something really cool: im not sure what that would be, but i am sure it will be really cool! besides, this code lesson has been given to me (and others) free of charge through etsy. so, i continue to plug away.
