happy international museum day! never heard of it? yeah, me either and i live in dc where there are, like, a gazillion museums. despite being drug from museum to museum as a child, spending hour after hour viewing crusty, dusty artifacts, i still like visiting my local cultural institutions: i just limit my visit to an hour. one can be very spoiled here in the nation's capitol as most museums here are free...i am always taken aback when visiting other cities when i have to shell out $20 or so for a little go-see, cuz i never have any cash: thank god for the plastica!
