if you are not familiar with the website instructables, you are missing out: they have crazy shizzz! they tell you how to do anything and everything, including skully cupcakes, biohazard beer barrels, scary make-up, and lobster costumes. this giant stuffed moustache can be fabricated by you to wear saturday night...halloween. or better yet: make one for your kid: how cool will she be trick or treating with this great 'guise?

house on haunted hill scavenger hunt

tonite artist andrew wodzianski opens his latest painting exhibit inspired by the 50th anniversary of the campy film "house on haunted hill" at flashpoint gallery in penn quarter. the opening runs 6-8 and includes a funerary performance: that sounds like fun! though the film was released in 1959, andrew kicks it up to the minute at midnight by tweeting details of an audience participation scavenger hunt that runs throughout october, culminating in a costume house party on friday the 30th with non-stop pbr. sounds scary!
